Office Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a part-time evening Office Housekeeper, approximately 18–20 hours per week, to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary working environment throughout the office premises. This role ensures that employees and visitors experience a safe and pleasant atmosphere by performing routine cleaning tasks and supporting facility upkeep.

We have grown over the years and have several branches across multiple states. Our highly trained sales and service professionals provide customers with a single source for all weighing needs. In 1994, B-TEK Scales, LLC. was started as the manufacturing arm to supply Brechbuhler Scales, Inc. In 2020, Brechbuhler began a joint venture with Instrument Calibration Solutions (ICS), LLC. Altogether, all three companies are made up of 330+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize office spaces, including workstations, meeting rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.
• Dusting furniture, fixtures and office equipment.
• Empty trash bins and recycling containers; ensure proper waste disposal.
• Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen or break areas, including appliances and countertops.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report on any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Follow company health and safety standards.

Skills

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina for lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, and standing for longer periods of time.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Good communication skills for interacting with staff when necessary.

Monday-Wednesday-Friday 4pm-10pm with some flexibility (approximately 18–20 hours per week)
