About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, outgoing, and highly organized Office Assistant to support our Medical Specialty Unit. In this essential role, you’ll provide key administrative support and assist with patient-focused work. This is a 0.9 FTE (72 hours bi-weekly) position with on-site work in La Crosse.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, daytime hours
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay
Starting pay of $16.86/hour, with higher rates based on experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide LOVE + MEDICINE by delivering exceptional first and last impressions for patients and families
- Partner with providers, clinical staff, and leaders to support patient care and team success
- Assist with calendar management, meeting preparation, and taking meeting minutes
- Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No experience required, but clerical or office experience is a plus
- Strong technology, customer service, and scheduling skills preferred
