About the role

Pediatric ENT Associates at COA Main - Arlington Building seeks an Administrative Assistant to join their team. The position will be full-time on the Day Shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Appointment scheduling
• Responding to the nurse message line
• Office inventory management
• Facilities coordination
• Special projects
• Cross-functional support to maintain efficient daily practice operations
• Maintain an efficient, friendly, work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
• Associates degree or healthcare certification is a plus
• Experience: Three years of administrative and customer service in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with EMR/EHR preferred; EPIC experience is a plus

Skills Needed

• Ability to work efficiently in a challenging environment while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Understanding insurance verification and referrals
• Ability to work independently and with a group to support the needs of practice
