Primary Care at Linden Hill is seeking a Medical Office Assistant I who can handle various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Services provided include gynecology, women's health, vaccinations, physical examinations, preventive medicine, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Schedules appointments with attention to insurance
- Greets patients while collecting necessary information
- Processes referrals while maintaining confidentiality
- Handles payments, verifies insurance coverage
- Congresses communications by answering calls, relaying messages
- Uses EMR systems to coordinate with providers and staff
- Updates patients, schedules tests and appointments
- Maintains medical records
- Resolves patient issues
- Supports administrative tasks
- Follows safety protocols
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required. Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
The Medical Office Assistant I must have strong communication skills and the ability to proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
Hourly Pay Range: $17.32 - $25.12
Schedule
Monday & Wednesday: 7am to 7pm (one late night is required per week from 10am to 7pm)
Tuesday & Thursday: 7am to 5pm
Friday: 7am to 4:30pm
