About the role

The Office Assistant supports the Bismarck office of Fredrikson & Byron, a leading Midwest-based law firm. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining office efficiency and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Project a professional and friendly image by providing efficient, courteous service to clients and visitors.
  • Open the office, prepare the reception area for the day, and assist with office closing procedures.
  • Order, stock, and maintain supplies and equipment.
  • Perform general office duties such as making deliveries, running errands, and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  • Provide general office administration support.
  • Aid in computer equipment coordination and office moves.
  • Offer administrative support to legal administrative assistants, paralegals, and attorneys as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with desktop technologies.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A client-service orientation and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Schedule
