Join a Growing Texas Defense Practice | Of Counsel | Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Manage complex litigation from inception through resolution
- Handle a diverse caseload involving:
- Commercial Trucking & Transportation Defense
- Construction Defect Litigation
- General Liability Defense
- Personal Injury Defense
- Take ownership of files
- Handle depositions
- Draft and argue dispositive motions
- Participate in mediations
- Work closely with clients throughout the litigation process
- Experience in trial proceedings is a plus
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Texas Bar license
- 7-10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Experience handling commercial trucking and transportation matters preferred
- Strong deposition, motion practice, and case management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience in construction defect, general liability, and personal injury defense
Skills
- Experience in complex litigation
- Effective communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases
