About the role

Chromalloy New York is seeking Production Workers for its 2nd Shift. This is an hourly position with Local 475, paying $21.56/hr with a 10% differential for 2nd shift. Shift is Monday through Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Use hand, power, and machine tools to facilitate the preparation, cleaning, and processes of molds, equipment, parts, assemblies, or machinery.
  • Cross-train on operations within multiple areas.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function.
  • Utilize the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Full participation in safety training and understanding and following the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical background preferred.
  • Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Ability to use hand tools and gauges (previous experience preferred).

Physical Demands

  • Regularly: Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequently: Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to a typical manufacturing environment.
  • Moderate cold and moderate heat exposure.
  • Loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.

Schedule

2nd shift is Monday through Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm.

Pay

$21.56/hr with a 10% differential for 2nd shift.
