OEM Production Worker 2nd shift

About the role

Chromalloy New York is seeking Production Workers for its 2nd Shift. This is an hourly position with Local 475, paying $21.56/hr with a 10% differential for 2nd shift. 2nd shift operates Monday through Friday from 3:00pm - 11:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Use hand, power, and machine tools to facilitate the preparation, cleaning, and processes of molds, equipment, parts, assemblies, or machinery.
• Cross-train on operations within multiple areas.
• Regularly attend and perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in safety training and follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background preferred.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to use hand tools and gauges (previous experience preferred).

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.
• Exposure to a typical manufacturing environment including loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.

Work Environment

The employee may also occasionally be exposed to moderate cold and moderate heat while working in the production facility.
