What You’ll Do
- Review work orders, engineering drawings, and OEM specifications to ensure accurate assembly
- Assemble cooling packages and components to meet customer-specific requirements and tolerances
- Inspect products throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with quality standards and OEM expectations
- Identify and perform necessary adjustments or repairs to meet both internal and customer quality standards
- Locate, verify, and retrieve parts required for final assembly
- Attach and secure all components according to detailed specifications and procedures
- Safely move cooling packages to and from workstations using manual methods or lifting equipment
- Able to read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and OEM specifications
- Understanding of customer-specific requirements and quality expectations
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and production documentation
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to use measuring tools
- Able to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
- Effective communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is required
- Previous experience in final assembly or OEM-specific assembly is preferred
- Able to work the assigned shift consistently
- Able to meet attendance requirements as outlined in AKG’s Employee Information Handbook
- Able to sit approximately 30%, walk 65%, and stand 5% of the workday
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds approximately 20% of the time
- Able to safely operate equipment including chain hoists, pallet jacks, saws, and power tools
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses
