OEM Account Manager – Mobile Fluid Power

Essential Functions
- Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to grow existing OEM accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new customers through networking, referrals, cold calling, customer visits, and technical sales presentations
- Utilize your mobile fluid power and hydraulic application expertise to recommend engineered solutions that improve customer performance, productivity, and reliability
- Build trusted relationships with OEM engineering, operations, purchasing, and leadership teams to become their preferred fluid power partner
- Collaborate with experienced customer service, engineering, and technical support teams to deliver outstanding customer solutions and exceed sales objectives
- Effectively manage your territory using CRM, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other sales tools to prioritize opportunities, track activity, and forecast business
- Stay current on mobile hydraulic technologies, products, and market trends to identify new opportunities and provide value-added recommendations
Experience, Education, & Skills
- Two- or four-year technical degree preferred, with emphasis in Engineering, Fluid Power, Hydraulics, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience selling mobile fluid power or hydraulic components, systems, or solutions to OEM manufacturers
- Demonstrated knowledge of mobile hydraulic systems, including products such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hose & fittings, filtration, manifolds, or related fluid power components
- Experience providing product application support, troubleshooting, and engineered hydraulic solutions
- Value-added industrial distribution or engineered solutions sales experience preferred
- Fluid Power Certification is a plus
- Proven ability to develop lasting customer relationships and consistently grow sales
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
- Valid driver's license required
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed within the assigned territory
