ODP Caregiver/Direct Support Professional

Faithful at Home Care is hiring compassionate and dependable ODP Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independently and participate in their communities.

Pay

• Starting at $18.00 per hour
• $3,000 quality care bonus

Services You May Provide

• Companion Services
• In-Home and Community Support (IHCS)
• Community Participation Support (CPS)

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered support
• Assist individuals with achieving their ISP goals and outcomes
• Transport individuals to community activities, appointments, shopping, and other outings
• Encourage independence and community participation
• Complete detailed daily progress notes for every shift
• Complete required monthly ODP trainings
• Follow the individual's ISP, health and safety plans, and agency policies
• Maintain professional and reliable communication with the management team
• Depending on the individual's needs and ISP, responsibilities may include assisting with daily living skills, community outings, transportation, socialization, household tasks, personal goals, and promoting independence

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and committed to scheduled shifts
• Comfortable working in both home and community settings
• Ability to complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Ability to complete and maintain all required ODP trainings
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful when supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
