About the role

As an OCI Operations Engineer, you will support the maintenance and enhancement of cloud-based solutions for clients facing complex challenges. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing OCI solutions, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with teams to address client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and knowledge of various resources
  • Work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design
  • Ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process
  • Grow skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems
  • 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, including Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces
  • Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Ansible, or YAML
  • Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
  • Experience supporting advanced OCI solutions, and hardening government systems following STIG requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Secret clearance
  • DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date

Skills

  • Experience designing solutions to enable migration from AWS to OCI
  • Experience with OCI AI, ML, and LLM offerings
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of site reliability engineering concepts
  • OCI Certifications such as OCI Operations Associate or OCI Developer Certification

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
