Product Agent Core Competencies
- Timely and Accurate Shipment Processing: Ensures smooth and timely freight process flow according to Expeditors' operational procedures.
- Timely and Accurate Data Entry: Ensures accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems.
- Timely and Accurate Billing and Accounting: Invoices customers the expected charges timely and accurately and according to Expeditors and customer requirements.
Ocean Export Job-Specific Tasks and Duties
- Respond to emails timely
- Gather all required shipment elements and documents for Export
- Log & Prepare File for Export
- Review of Customer Shipment Documents for Compliance
- Request Inbonds if required
- Review and confirm customer rates and ensure TLI’s are updated prior to shipment pick up
- Request bookings
- Coordinate pickup with approved service providers
- Coordination with team members in our warehouse
- Process shipments timely with in booking Port and Document cut offs
- Create delivery orders
- Monitor and update shipments with core events as per OPS
- Invoicing timely and accurately
- Settle files timely and accurately
Physical Demands
Use of standard office equipment, functions performed primarily while seated at desk.
Qualifications
- Global logistics industry knowledge
- Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
- Fluent in English
