Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN)

About the role

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) responsible for delivering occupational therapy treatments under physician orders and the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy treatments to improve client function and independence.
• Guide clients in therapeutic and self-care activities.
• Instruct clients, families, and healthcare team members on incorporating therapeutic activities into daily routines.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Virginia licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience as a COTA.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
