Provide occupational therapy to patients in home care settings.
Responsibilities
- Follow state laws and treatment plans set by supervising OT.
- Instruct and assist patients in evidence-based therapy within legal scope.
- Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members on therapy methods.
- Adapt to diverse home environments and patient needs.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation.
Preferred Skills
- CPR certification.
- Multitasking and independent work ability.
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
