Occupational Therapy Assistant - Part Time

Role: A Part-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) providing occupational therapy to patients in home care settings. Key Responsibilities Follow state laws and supervised treatment plans to assist patients in restoring physical abilities.Instruct and aid patients, families, and caregivers using evidence-based interventions within scope.Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to healthcare team members.Provide education on therapy techniques to patients, families, and team members.Work effectively across diverse home environments, regardless of patient background. Qualifications & Skills Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the practice state.Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to reliable transportation.Preferred: CPR certification, ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and strong communication skills. Key Duties: Implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, document responses, instruct patients and caregivers, and adapt to various home situations.
