About the Role
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) providing inpatient care in Brunswick.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and coordinating medically prescribed therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability.
- Developing positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
- Educating and supporting patients and caregivers on practice skills and techniques.
- Conferring with management and documentation to optimize treatment outcomes and financial reimbursement.
- Respecting patient rights and involving them in treatment decisions.
- Participating in quality improvement and compliance with standards.
Qualifications
- Associate’s of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Georgia licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient rehab preferred.
