Occupational Therapy Assistant - Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. This role emphasizes professional growth, teamwork, and delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Implement personalized care plans focused on functional goals.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure physician orders are current and obtained.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), if required by the state.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
