Occupational Therapy Assistant - Full Time

About the Role

Provides prescribed occupational therapy treatments under supervision, supporting diverse rehabilitation needs including geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and neonatal care. Participates in home environmental assessments and assists with developing personalized rehab care plans. Works independently and mentors staff on technical skills as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and select appropriate modalities to achieve goals.
• Assist patients with transfers, mobility, dressing, and toileting, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Support inpatient and outpatient scheduling, report delays, and coordinate visits.
• Maintain and clean equipment and supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; associate's/technical degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education; one year of occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in applicable states.
• CPR/BLS certification and valid driver’s license; must be at least 21 years old.
