About the role

We're seeking PRN Occupational Therapy Assistants to join our team at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, MD. This is a unique opportunity for therapists who want to provide personalized care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and treatment plans based on each resident's goals and needs
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Collaborate closely with the care team to support independence, dignity, and quality of life
• Document patient progress using Net Health and facility systems
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused therapy culture where support, ideas, and encouragement are shared

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active Maryland COTA license in good standing
• A genuine passion for working with older adults
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• A team-oriented approach and commitment to quality care

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
