Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - PRN

About the role

We're seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled rehab team at NHC West Plains. This PRN position will assist patients in regaining strength, balance, and confidence after illness, injury, surgery, or decline.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in regaining strength, balance, and confidence
• Deliver high-quality care in a supportive, family-oriented environment
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers

Requirements

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OTA program
• Certified (or eligible) through NBCOT
• Active Missouri COTA license
• Reliable transportation
• Positive attitude
• Team-player mindset
• SNF experience is a plus, but not required

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care
