Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) PRN

About the role

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed therapist. Assist patients in achieving their physical therapy goals through various therapeutic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with exercises and treatments as directed by a licensed therapist.
• Help patients maintain proper posture and body mechanics during activities.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
