Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Part Time

About the role

We're seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled rehab team at NHC West Plains. This position will provide therapy services to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or decline.

Responsibilities

• Help patients regain strength, balance, and confidence
• Deliver high-quality care in a supportive, family-oriented environment
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assess patient needs and progress regularly
• Document patient care accurately and timely

Requirements

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OTA program
• Certified (or eligible) through NBCOT
• Active Missouri COTA license
• Reliable transportation
• Positive attitude
• Team-player mindset
• SNF experience is a plus, but not required
