About the role

We're seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled rehab team at NHC West Plains. This position offers support to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or decline, with a focus on helping them regain strength, balance, and confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed therapists in providing patient care
  • Help patients regain strength, balance, and confidence
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OTA program
  • Certified (or eligible) through NBCOT
  • Active Missouri COTA license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Positive attitude
  • Team-player mindset
  • SNF experience is a plus, but not required
