About the role

An Occupational Therapy Assistant is a skilled licensed therapist who performs direct care under the clinical supervision of the Occupational Therapist to maximize functional potential in all areas of a resident’s life.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' abilities and needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercises
• Monitor and document progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state of employment
• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for improving quality of life for residents

Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
• Proficiency in using assistive devices and equipment
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Schedule

• Flexible Schedule Monday-Friday or alternate schedule
• Full-Time 30-40 Hours/Week or Part-time (20-25 hours/week)
