Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA / OTA

About the role

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Broad River Rehab will perform direct care under the clinical supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The position offers a flexible schedule and split position between two skilled nursing facilities in Lebanon.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist in the development and implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards

Requirements

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state of employment
• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
• One year of experience preferred

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a 4-5 day work week and flexible scheduling options.
