Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-TIme

About the role

The role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed therapist, assisting with therapeutic activities, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs and PT exercises
• Administer therapeutic interventions as directed
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in state
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer software and medical terminology

Skills

• Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor skills
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
