About the Role
Provide home-based occupational therapy to restore patients' physical abilities.
Responsibilities
- Follow state-specific laws and the treatment plan set by the supervising OT.
- Instruct and assist patients within the scope of practice and evidence-based treatments.
- Observe, record, and communicate patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques.
- Adapt to diverse home settings, regardless of patient background.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation.
- State-specific certification with the National Board for Certification in OT (e.g., FL).
- Preferred: CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
