About the role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our supportive team at Aegis Therapies. Our team works in various settings including nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists in providing occupational therapy services to patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers
• Adapt therapy activities to meet individual patient needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or ability to obtain in the state of practice
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
