Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in the provision of rehabilitative services to patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessment and therapist direction.
• Provide direct patient care, including physical assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions.

Requirements

• Current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
• Experience in geriatric care is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field preferred.
• Completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.

Skills

• Proficiency in using medical software and equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and environments.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Pay

Pay: state range $28 to $38 per hour.

Schedule

Schedule: 40 hours per week.
