About the role
Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide evaluations and treatments for neuro and orthopedic in-patient rehab and acute care patients.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Texas OT license (no temporary licenses)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience, preferably in inpatient rehab and hospital settings
- Experience with neuro and ortho evaluations and treatments; acute settings like ICU preferred
- Documentation experience with Meditech; BLS certification may be required
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Bilingual skills and certifications like NDT or brain injury are a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide patient evaluations and treatments in hospital units, including inpatient rehab and acute care
- Work during day shifts with guaranteed hours, including weekend shifts, with some floating and call duties
- Ensure documentation and adherence to facility policies
