Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide skilled therapy services in a skilled nursing facility, helping patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities improve daily skills and regain independence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• Possible BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Experience in skilled nursing facility settings
• Ability to manage caseloads and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience
• Experience with post-acute care documentation systems

Key Duties

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations and interventions
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to optimize functional outcomes
• Support discharge planning and functional improvements

Schedule

08:30–16:30, five 8-hour shifts, guaranteed 35 hours/week.
