Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

About the Role

Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide home health care, helping patients of all ages improve daily living skills in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on interventions such as range of motion (ROM), strength, and coordination training.
• Fabricate splints and fit adaptive equipment.
• Document clinical notes, Plans of Care, and progress reports accurately.
• Travel locally for patient visits, perform assessments, and deliver therapy in patients' homes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Missouri OT license, current CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Minimum two years of experience in acute or rehab settings.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with home health documentation and infection control practices.

Schedule

The role involves day shifts and flexible scheduling with local travel.
