Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

Join as a travel Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting, providing patient assessment, treatment planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, supervision of assistants and students, and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team processes
  • Promote safety and ensure timely documentation
  • Support discharge planning and quality improvement efforts
  • May float to other facilities as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license
  • BLS certification (may be required)
  • Preferred experience in acute care or hospital environments
  • Skills in patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and caregiver training
  • Supervisory experience with COTAs and OT students is advantageous
