About the role
The Occupational Therapy Technician (OT Tech) plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role at Oaklin Lane, supporting the therapeutic sessions of licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). This position ensures that therapy spaces and equipment are prepared for sessions, supports therapists during sessions, sanitizes and organizes equipment, manages patient flow, and contributes to a positive clinic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare therapy spaces and equipment for treatment sessions
- Support therapists during sessions, managing equipment and ensuring safety
- Sanitize and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas throughout the day
- Help with patient flow, including guiding families to and from treatment areas
- Flag when supplies need to be restocked
- Keep an eye on inventory and restock as needed
- Show up for team meetings and contribute to the clinic's culture
- Pitch in on administrative and operational support as needed
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with children (though not required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule
