Occupational Therapist | School Based

Responsibilities

• Design occupational therapy treatment plans and interventions in accordance with Special Education policies and procedures and 504 Accommodation Plans
• Schedule and carry out treatment sessions
• Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to assess, write IEPs, and provide for students with disabilities
• Complete required documentation including IEPs, progress reports, and Medicaid billing
• Communicate, instruct, coordinate, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents about students' therapy plans and strategies

Requirements

• Active OT license in Florida
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred
• Part-time availability for the 2026-2027 school year
• At least 2 years of experience in a school-based setting
• 1+ year of experience providing online therapy (or tech-savvy and eager to learn)
• Excellent time management skills
• Positive problem-solving skills and creativity
• Professional, dedicated space for working remotely
• Experience working with a diverse student and staff population
