Occupational Therapist | PRN & Full Time @ Senior Living Community

About the role

At Benchmark Therapies, we're excited to welcome Full-Time and PRN Occupational Therapists to our team at Asbury Methodist Village, a highly regarded retirement community in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and treatment plans based on each resident's goals and needs
• Help residents improve safety, independence, strength, coordination, cognition, and participation in daily routines
• Support residents with meaningful activities, self-care, mobility, adaptive equipment, and environmental safety
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Collaborate closely with the care team to support independence, dignity, and quality of life
• Document patient progress using Net Health and facility systems
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused therapy culture where support, ideas, and encouragement are shared

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license in good standing
• A genuine passion for working with older adults
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• A team-oriented approach and commitment to quality care
