Occupational Therapist - PRN

About the Role

This PRN Occupational Therapist position is in an acute care setting, providing skilled therapy services to patients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional status
• Educate and confer with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making appropriate referrals
• Perform assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy needs
• Delegate tasks to assistants and students based on their competencies
• Deliver therapy and document interventions in accordance with departmental policies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed or registered as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop personalized rehabilitation programs
