Occupational Therapist (OT) Reports To Director of Rehabilitation

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• C Conduct assessments and establish treatment goals.
• P Provide interventions such as self-care training and adaptive equipment.
• D Document evaluations, treatments, and progress.
• S Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and collaborate with care teams.
• T Train caregivers and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state OT license.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• K Knowledge of OT interventions and rehab techniques.
• S Communication and problem-solving skills.
• O Strong organizational ability.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• P Lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• E Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching.
