Occupational Therapist | PRN (As Needed)

About the Role

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients, develops tailored treatment plans, monitors progress, and educates patients to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients across all age groups and determine appropriate therapy approaches.
• Develop, implement, and modify treatment programs based on patient needs.
• Educate patients on therapy techniques and safety precautions.
• Measure and document patient progress for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s preferred.
• Current Florida Occupational Therapy license and BLS certification.
• Knowledge of Occupational Therapy principles, procedures, and equipment.
• Good communication skills and proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to assess and manage both simple and complex diagnoses.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation and splinting/orthotic fabrication is advantageous.
