Occupational Therapist - Per-Diem, Variable Shift

About the Role

The Occupational Therapist (OT) plans and conducts treatment programs to restore and enhance patients' physical, social, and mental functions. They serve as co-leaders within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized care plans are developed, communicated, and documented accurately. The OT supervises assigned assistants and performs comprehensive evaluations to meet quality standards, utilizing appropriate clinical techniques and tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) with licensure in the practice state.
• Preferred: Two years of occupational therapy experience.
• Required certifications: state licensure, CPR/BLS, and BLS from approved vendors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Provide therapy interventions using established protocols and techniques.
• Complete clinical documentation within deadlines.
• Supervise assigned therapy assistants and perform related duties as needed.
