About the role

The Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans, and delivers personalized treatment programs for patients across all age groups, including inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and establish patient-centered goals
• Implement therapy techniques and evaluate treatment effectiveness
• Develop discharge plans and recommend adaptive equipment
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and make referrals as needed
• Perform home evaluations and maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure patient safety throughout the care process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• New York State license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to travel within the region
• Experience providing clinical supervision
• Commitment to staying updated on best practices
