About the role

KORT Physical Therapy is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist (OTR) to join their team. They evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with a range of diagnoses, including sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, visual motor deficits, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with various conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient goals
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Document patient care responsibilities accurately
  • Adhere to state practice act and relevant laws
  • Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care within guidelines
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures
  • Stay updated with Occupational Therapy research and evidence-based practices

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
  • Pediatric outpatient experience in the last 2 years (if practicing clinician)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • State occupational therapist license (or eligibility)

Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and best practices is essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also required.

Pay

$53,000 and up commensurate with experience

Schedule

Monday-Friday (no weekends)
