Occupational Therapist - Part-time

About the role

Our outpatient orthopedic team is seeking a part-time occupational therapist to join us in providing quality patient care. We are passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience and helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 16 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

Pay

$45.00 – $50.00 per hour (pending experience)

Responsibilities

• Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (research, clinician expertise, patient perception)
• Enhance, develop, and expand relationships with referral sources; maintain positive interaction with centers and patients
• Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency, and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician
• Understand and adhere to the appropriate state Practice Act and laws governing OT practice and supervision
• Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with manager and referring physician approval per HIPAA guidelines
• Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within state rules and federal regulations
• Provide comprehensive, individualized treatment programs and complete patient care responsibilities and documentation in a timely manner

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy
• State Occupational Therapist license (or license eligible)
• CPR certification
• Valid state driver’s license
