Occupational Therapist (Part Time)

The Evergreen Center is a private non-profit organization that provides living and learning environments for children and adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities including autism, physical disabilities, neurobehavioral disorders, and other special needs. The Evergreen Center welcomes all individuals from various backgrounds and experiences through cultural equity, inclusion, and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative Occupational Therapy services to classrooms and residences.
• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations.
• Provide staff training.
• Identify IEP goals, activities, and assistive technology to increase student learning and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, direct care staff, and BCBAs to promote motor and adaptive skill development across all settings.
• Work with the Therapy Department to enhance student access to educational and community experiences.
• Utilize a variety of resources and materials to meet student needs.
• Engage in professional development and research opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a certified degree program in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be currently licensed or have filed for a license in Massachusetts.
