Occupational Therapist (Part Time)

Role Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing daily living skills, work-related skills, and overall quality of life.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Monitor and document clients’ progress, making adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Support and guide clients in managing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Experience in a mental health or partial hospital setting required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Experience with Adolescents and Adults preferred.

Pay Range

$40 USD - $65 USD
