About the role
Join our collaborative, patient-centered team at Frederick Health Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab –Crestwood Clinic, where innovation, compassion, and clinical excellence come together. This full-time position focuses on evaluating and treating patients with lymphedema and related conditions, including post-surgical and oncology populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive lymphedema evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver complete decongestive therapy (CDT), including manual lymphatic drainage, compression bandaging, and patient education
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on long-term lymphedema management and prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Degree from a CAOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Maryland OT license (or eligibility)
- Lymphedema certification with at least 1+ years of experience
- Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
- Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
