Occupational Therapist (OTR)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide occupational therapy services to our residents at our skilled nursing facility in Joplin, MO. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work on a per diem/PRN basis, providing evaluations, treatments, and progress reports to help our residents achieve their rehabilitation and wellbeing goals.

Occupational Therapist (OTR) Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents, including evaluations, treatments, and progress reports
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans

Occupational Therapist (OTR) Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the state of Missouri
• Experience working with older adults and seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
