Occupational Therapist (OT) - School Based

About the role

This role involves providing Occupational Therapy services to children in a school setting, including conducting evaluations, assessments, and tracking progress. The therapist will deliver services as outlined in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support each child's goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for children in a school setting.
• Track and document student progress.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy services as outlined in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes to ensure proper record-keeping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid, unencumbered state license to practice occupational therapy.
