About the Role
Provide therapy services to students aged 3-21 with various physical, social-emotional, and developmental challenges.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans targeting functional outcomes aligned with students' IEPs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including teachers, SLPs, PTs, and healthcare providers.
- Assess, document, and monitor student progress through formal and informal methods.
- Prepare review reports and goals in compliance with state and IEP requirements.
- Participate in school meetings such as IEP, triennials, and evaluations.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine therapy needs, focusing on ADL, motor skills, positioning, adaptive equipment, executive function, and self-regulation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
- Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid, unencumbered state license and current CPR certification.
- Preferred pediatric clinical experience.
